Security Clearance – information about UK clearance process & Eligibility
As a prime defence supplier, all successful applicants must be willing and eligible to obtain a level of Security clearance. This varies depending on role, but as part of the baseline clearance (as a minimum) we are required to conduct residency and criminal records checks as standard.
All employees of Raytheon UK must complete the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) as a minimum before employment commences. This process includes confirmation of identity, the right to work in the UK, a criminal records check and a residency qualification.
Employees may be required to undergo the National Security Vetting process in order to be granted either an SC (Secret) or DV (Developed Vetting) security clearance, dependant on the requirement of the role/programme.
