Executive Compensation Analyst

Job Summary: Reporting to the Director, Executive Compensation, the Executive Compensation Analyst performs a wide variety of tasks in support of Raytheon’s executive compensation, equity, and perquisite programs. This position is a significant contributor responsible for ensuring flawless process execution that meets the business and human resources objectives of the Company. The Executive Compensation Analyst will collaborate and partner across the enterprise as required, ensuring successful program execution.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Assists with preparation of materials for meetings of the Management Development and Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors. Tasks include: maintaining stock databases, creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Administers the executive perquisites program: Senior Executive Life Insurance, Excess Liability Insurance, Executive Health and Registry, Financial Planning and Tax Preparation, First Class Air Travel, and other related programs. Ensures all executives are enrolled in executive perquisites. Communicates directly with executives to answer questions and resolve issues.
  • Collaborates extensively with Charles Schwab, Raytheon’s stock plan administrator. Creates and submits stock files, ensures all files are loaded properly, generates stock agreements, and develops communications to stock recipients. Generates stock reports for internal requests. Answers and resolves stock questions and issues with Charles Schwab and employees. Supports Charles Schwab, Finance, AST (Raytheon’s Transfer Agent), and auditors in reconciling stock reports.
  • Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports in partnership with Corporate Accounting, Government Accounting, Legal, Payroll, Supply Chain, Tax, and external vendors.
  • Supports the implementation and execution of various executive compensation programs with data analytics, metrics, and reports.
  • Composes draft memoranda, correspondence, and other communications materials.
  • Supports audit requests from Internal Audit, PwC, and Defense Contract Audit Agency.
  • Supports Legal, Tax, Accounting, Payroll, Risk Management, and HR in all areas of stock, executive compensation, and perquisites.
Required Skills:
  • Basic knowledge and experience in Human Resources, Compensation, Benefits, or Finance, as would be gained through at least two years of exempt level working experience; or a Master’s degree with comparable internships.
  • Ability to comprehend, administer and explain policies related to executive compensation and benefits programs and processes.
  • Possess a highly collaborative style and strong team orientation, along with a demonstrated ability to build positive professional relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding and high stress environment.
  • Must be able to work quickly, accurately, and independently, and follow up on details, check own work for accuracy, and make corrections.
  • Adaptable and agile in order to manage complex and evolving priorities.
  • Demonstrate unquestioned integrity and ethics in handling confidential and sensitive. information/situations.
Degree Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
