Project Scheduler
Broughton/Waddington

We are looking for a Project Scheduler based with the lead Project Scheduler and project team in providing project planning, variance analysis and reporting to support the delivery of a major Airborne ISR programme

The project scheduler will be responsible for :
The integrity of the Integrated Programme Schedules (IPS’s) ensuring that all activities, events and milestones are logically linked.
Perform analysis such as critical path, schedule risk analysis and Earned Value variance root cause analysis. Maintain the IPS’s as required (weekly/monthly), and aligned to the fiscal calendar.
Support the lead Project Scheduler & Programme Manager with analysis of trend data and provision of metrics for review at Programme Review Boards.
Ensure contractual and programme baseline control management is adopted to ensure the IPS’s maintain a true and realistic baseline.
Support the development of Programme Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Organisational Breakdown Structures (OBS) to ensure effective cost and schedule reporting.
Support Bid and Proposal activities through the collation and transfer of Basis of Estimates into the Pricing Team to ensure consistent application of approved best practice processes and tools using Raytheon UK’s IPDS (Integrated Product Development System).
Cover for Programme Integrated Master Scheduler (IMS) during holiday periods
Travel to other Raytheon Sites (UK) may be required.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential
Experience of using and analysing Microsoft Project EPM 2010 or Primavera 6, and other Microsoft Office applications (Excel. Word, PowerPoint).
Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
Ability to support and guide a diverse team and key stakeholders.
Good written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the business.
Experience in a complex project environment.
Eligible for or Holder of current SC security clearance (RSL will sponsor as required).
Experience of working within the Aerospace or Defence Industry.
Working knowledge of Risk Management Processes
