Analytical problem solving and communication skills are essential for successful implementation of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). During the program execution phase, the Program Planner is the focal point for changes and updates to the IMS. The successful candidate must be able to identify and recommend insightful mitigation plans to ensure that the IMS is used as a predictive model and as a valued management tool for the program. This requires an awareness of project management and review techniques. Basic facilitation skills and the ability to proactively communicate with peers, team leads, technical leaders, management, and the customer are required. Keeping the plans current and predictive of the future are key in this role during the execution phase.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and use of Information Technology
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in teams in highly matrixed environments
- Solid writing and presentation skills
Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in one of the following disciplines: Business, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
This position can be a Salary Grade SA02, SA03, SA04 or Salary Grade SA05 based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below:
- SA02 (Sophmore Intern) - must have completed 30 hours of college
- SA03 (Junior Intern) - must have completed 60 hours of college
- SA04 (Senior Intern) - must have completed 90 hours of college
- SA05 (Post Grad Intern) - must have completed 90 hours of college
