Material Program Manager (MPM) needed to function for the SM-3 Program in Huntsville, AL. This position can be located in either Tucson, AZ or Huntsville, AL.

The MPM will work with the SM-3 Factories to translate fluctuations in factory demand into executable plans with Supply Chain and our suppliers. The successful candidate will have supply chain and production control experience and exhibit strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across the organization.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Secret Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

As an integral member of the Standard Missile Supply chain Management team, this MPM role will have direct contact to internal customers, including Program Office, Quality, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Contracts as well as the Customer. Responsibilities include developing material strategies; oversight for the preparation and execution of Material Program Plans (MPPs); identifying and mitigating program risks as they pertain to material requirements; Material Sales Management/Forecasting, Supplier Management Reviews, Proposals and Program Business Reviews; resolving Supply Chain issues for the program; supporting Supplier negotiations as required.

Required Education, Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain or similar is required
  
• At least 8 years of progressive professional experience with a combination of experience in Project, Program, Product, Finance or Supplier Management is required
  
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance Required
  
• Commitment to obtain MPM certification after experience in the role
  
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel and Power point)
  
• U.S. Citizenship

• Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain or similar
• Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an IPT environment
• Must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management, supplier management
• Must be able to succeed in the high stress, fast paced environment of development and program execution
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to the many tasks that they will be required to perform

Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security Clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
