Raytheon is currently seeking an experienced Sr Computer Systems Technologist I, who will perform and lead in operational activities in support of the Sage program.
The Sage program is a multi-contractor team providing Operations and Support to our proprietary customer providing ground systems processing operations.
Position requires candidate to work rotating shifts to include 12 hours days and 12 hour mids, and 2 weekends a month.
Position requires individual provide system monitoring for ingest, processing, and dissemination of data to end users.
Must be able identify, and document fault detections and execute system recovery efforts to restore processing systems to full mission capability.
Candidate will be familiar with SUN, Solaris, UNIX and be able execute documented procedures.
Must have the ability to perform related data processing / computer operations tasks.
Must have excellent user support skills, preferably in support of military or government agency users.
Must have the ability to perform with a professional manner with the ongoing operational tasks of organization units.
Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Communicate with partners within and out of the job function. May be responsible for communicating with parties external to the organization i.e. customers/vendors.
Must have experience or knowledge of operations principles, standards, theories, and concepts as well as industry. Must have the ability to complete task-related activities on schedule.
Must possess strong analytical skills, flexibility, and be able to work in a enterprise team environment.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Must have a current TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly (or have held an active TS/SCI within the past 2 years).
Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information.
Current TS/SCI with Poly
Experience with UNIX or LINUX operating systems.
Required Education (including Major):
Science, Technology or Mathematics (STEM) Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience
