At Raytheon engineers focus on technology, innovation and Mission Assurance for existing and evolving customer mission needs in the areas of Air, Land, Sea, Space and Cyber for all markets. The Hardware Engineering Technical Lead at Raytheon develops technical roadmaps, writes technical proposals, and works with business development as well as all engineering disciplines to support a broad range of technical areas such as situational awareness, communications, border surveillance products, avionics, munitions and electro-optic infra-red (EOIR). Sample programs include the F-16, F-18, CH-53 and HH-60 aircraft displays and upgrades, ground vehicle displays, bomb racks, V-22 Lab capability upgrades, as well as launchers and pods on multiple platforms. This HW Technical Lead will also provide technical leadership on integrated product teams (IPTs). This role involves the integration of many areas of knowledge and expertise to create and support complex systems and requires a broad based understanding of the different areas of design. In addition this role at times will encompass leading design reviews and working with manufacturing to ensure the best possible product is delivered to the war fighter.

•Eight (8) years of related experience required
•Advanced technical degree
•Experience in proposal writing including cost estimation
•Knowledge of design practices
•Ability to assimilate inputs from multiple sources and derive design and operational requirements
•Capability to apply robust design principles
Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years of related work experience or sixteen (16) years of related work experience in lieu of a degree Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline
