Raytheon UK is looking for dynamic, experienced, high performing, hands-on Business Change Lead. This role will functionally report to the Business Transformation Team, & be seconded to work full time on the major IT Transformation Programme currently underway. This will be a complex and challenging role that will be central to ensuring that the people, process and IT elements of transformation come together in delivery.
On the IT Transformation Programme, the role will report to the Programme Manager, and work very closely with the Workstreams, Comms Team and Business Representatives.
The role is required to produce the change strategy and plan, and work with the programme, workstreams and business to deliver and embed it.
The successful candidate will be the critical link between the delivery workstreams and our business stakeholders and users. The work location is Harlow, and some travel is likely when liaising with the business.
The Business Change Lead will be responsible for planning, managing and executing the following:
. Production of the IT transformation change strategy and plan, including definition of the target state & journey to reach it
. Management of workstream interactions with functions & end users – to ensure holistic approach taken
. Plan with workstreams what function, mission area and end user input is required & when for eg. testing, training, migration planning, prioritisation etc.
. Liaise with the functions/end users to provide the necessary inputs to the agreed deadlines Liaise with the workstreams to ensure testing and feedback are well planned & executed
. Review & feedback on the testing materials from a user perspective
. Work with the workstreams & users to ensure fit for purpose training materials are produced, to support the implementation & adoption of the solutions & change
. Liaise with the workstreams to ensure implementations are well planned & executed
. Define & agree the business change success criteria for it to be sustained in BAU after project close
. Manage projects to deliver tangible value whilst meeting schedule and budget targets
. Develop strong relationships with stakeholders
. Ensure consistent, timely and accurate project reporting of status against the required change plan
. Identify and manage change related risks, opportunities and interdependencies, quantify and produce mitigation, capture and contingency plans
. Demonstrable experience of successful business change planning and delivery
. Demonstrable experience of successful stakeholder engagement and supporting the transition from programme to sustainable BAU
. Strong leadership and proactive teambuilding skills with experience of working in multi-discipline teams.
. Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of quickly building good relationships with peers and senior stakeholders.
. Exceptional verbal, written and presentational communication skills, with the ability to present concisely to Senior Management.
. Able to achieve consensus and traction quickly and in frequently high-tempo circumstances.
. Motivation, energy and drive, with an ability to adapt to the fast moving environment.
. Sound judgement skills, understanding when to own and brief and when to escalate
. Flexible approach to working additional hours and travelling as required.
. Eligible for or Holder of current SC security clearance (Raytheon UK will sponsor as required).
. Relevant qualification in a business change methodology
. Member of a relevant Business Change Professional institution
