The Raytheon IIS Hardware and Infrastructure (HW&I) Engineering team has professional openings for Infrastructure Engineers to support the integration of various applications into a PaaS offering. The ideal candidates for this position will be familiar with IT infrastructure service design using both private and public cloud environments, and be able to install, configure and integrate COTS software into deployed environments using infrastructure DevOps automation tools. An existing US Government Secret security clearance is required for these positions (US citizenship required).
- Familiarity with Platform as a Service (PaaS) infrastructure design
- Experience performing system configuration tasks on Linux and Windows hosts in private (VMware) and public (AWS) infrastructure environments
- Experience installing, configuring, integrating and troubleshooting COTS software products
- Experience automating software installation and configuration using DevOps tools (Chef, Ansible, &/or Puppet) and processes
- Ability to define and implement network interconnections between various interoperable systems
- Ability to produce detailed system documentation, including system administrator installation guides
- Active US Government Secret clearance (US citizenship required)
- Experience hardening systems to US Government IA standards, e.g. DISA STIGs
- Exposure to infrastructure service design, including compute, network, storage, and cyber services
Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of related work experience .
