Paid Time Off

The ideal candidate will be familiar with Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems, common office and IT applications, and network equipment and protocols. BBN's work environment includes classified facilities to perform Government contract work, so a security clearance, Security+ certification, and a knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and or NIST 800-171 standards are a plus.
Required Skills & Education:
*Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Systems Administration
*Knowledge of and experience with systems administration practices/procedures as applied to software management and system configuration.
*Working knowledge of networking essentials and Cisco Network Appliances, including routers, Layer 2 and 3 switches, and ASA Firewall/VPN devices.
*Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and/or Linux operating systems.
*Familiarity with Subversion, Git, and other version control systems.
*Facility for troubleshooting and solving technical problems.
*Demonstrated ability and interest in acquiring new technological skills.
*Ability to work in a team environment.
*The ability to obtain a security clearance for which the Department of Defense requires US citizenship.
*Knowledge of and/or familiarity with NIST 800-171 standards and the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
*Familiarity with DISA STIG and SCAP tools.
*Ability to obtain DISA HBSS and ACAS certifications.
*Ability to obtain CISCO CCNA certification.
*Working knowledge of a variety of operating systems such as Windows 10 (Workstation), Mac OS X and Linux
*Familiarity with installation and administering Jira, Trac, and Wikis websites.
*Knowledge of Red Hat Identity Manager, FreeIPA, OpenLDAP, Samba, NFS, DNS, Apache Web Servers, and Postfix.
*Demonstrated ability to support of a fast-paced set of developers and to balance priorities of multiple tasks.
