Corporate Security Officer

Raytheon BBN Technologies is currently seeking a Corporate Security Officer for its Cambridge, MA location. This security position is responsible for the oversight of 5 cleared facilities with responsibility for the Raytheon BBN Industrial Security Program. Reporting directly to the Operations Senior Manager of Raytheon BBN, the chosen candidate will be responsible for implementation of the National Industrial Security Program and the standardization of processes at all facilities within BBN.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Direct supervision of the Facility Security Officers at the Cambridge MA, Middletown RI, Columbia MD, Rosslyn VA, and Minneapolis MN. In addition, provide indirect support to office in O’Fallon IL.
Administering the company programs for handling and safeguarding classified and proprietary information.
Establish close working relationships, and collaborate on integration activities with counterparts within the larger Raytheon organization.
Coordinate self-audits of all regional facilities.
Conduct self-audits and coordinate with government and industry oversight agencies to facilitate inspections of security programs and systems.
Investigate security violations and prepare reports detailing procedures to preclude future occurrences.
Coordinate with government agencies to obtain authorizations, interpretations, and acceptable deviations with regulations.
Maintaining the information management system for control of classified materials.
Lead security incident response and workplace violence team.
Lead the BBN Insider Threat Program.
Provide guidance, subject matter expertise and mentorship to security personnel within the company.
Collaborate with other leaders to establish a culture of empowerment, accountability, respect and transparency.
Establish working relationships with US Government Security personnel.
Standardization of all related processes.

Required Skills & Education
Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related security experience
4+ years as a FSO managing a complex facility or equivalent government expertise
National Industrial Security Program experience
Experience interacting with Defense Security Service and other US Government security personnel
Active Top-Secret Clearance
