Are you interested in joining a dynamic, inclusive, and growing professional organization? Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) is looking for an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Information Assurance Cyber Security organization in Andover, MA.
Join a team that combines focusing on cyber security excellence through team work while leveraging individual diversity. This is a collaborative environment where there is high focus on ensuring regulatory compliance while allowing diversity of thought and providing results based recognition.
Provide Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Support to classified computing environments. Primarily interface with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), Program Engineering staff and Classified Lab Managers to ensure adherence to all NISPOM Chapter 8 policies. Maintain the classified information security computing environments, creating profiles and security plans. Submit updates in a timely manner and implement any changes required by the customer rapidly and correctly. Ensure all IS's are configured and maintained to retain DSS accreditation during classified operations. Verify the conduct of weekly audits of the lab environments. Verify there are no changes to the IS. Verify automated audit functions are performing properly. Verify no time period of audit data is missing. Review event logs. Verify users are cleared to operate lab systems.
This position can be a Salary Grade G06.
–U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
-A recent graduate (within 18 months) with a Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, Business or other relevant degree
–U.S. Citizenship is required.
-Experience in DoD classified operating and/or laboratory environments
-Operating system experience, (i.e., Windows, Solaris, HPUX, Linux operating systems, and/or NetApps Filers
-Previous experience working in a classified information systems environment.
-Possess good written, verbal, listening and presentation skills
-Self-motivated and possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in documenting evaluation results
-Desire and ability to work as a team member is essential
-Customer focused, adaptable and willing to work varying assignments
-Working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
-Organizational skills to include: attention to detail, time management and ability to multitask
-Previous networking experience
-CISA, Security+, or CNE professional certification
