Responsibilities

Seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing / Operations Program Manager responsible for the overall execution of production and development type contracts supporting RF products in a defense contractor manufacturing setting. The successful candidate will lead all program activity ensuring adherence to program schedule, cost, and technical performance, prepare corrective action plans for technical and schedule issues, and coordinate/execute proposal preparation. Specific areas of focus include but are not limited to product test development and deployment, advanced manufacturing techniques, factory space and planning and prototype / product development build. The Operations Program Manager will be accountable for achieving all internal financial targets, supporting process improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance to all applicable policies and procedures. This role must build and maintain strong diverse customer relationships, both internal and external to Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) supporting strong business growth.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Collaborating and partnering with functional resources across SAS to ensure program execution success
  • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Communicating clearly and removing barriers to execution across the enterprise
  • Presenting program status utilizing business and project management tools and procedures including Earned Value Management System, Risk Management, Financial Forecasts and Program Estimate at Completion analysis required
Required Skills:
  • 8 years of production related experience in Program Management, Engineering, or Operations
  • Supervisory Experience / Leading Teams
  • Understanding of Manufacturing systems including MRP systems and shop floor control systems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience developing and managing budgets
  • Experience with Cost Estimation or Proposal Experience
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance within one year of employment
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
  • U.S. Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
  • Transition to production program experience on programs with RF/Electronic Subassemblies and/or Subsystems
  • Master’s in Business Administration
  • Experience with Profit and Loss responsibility
  • Experience managing Production or Sustainment programs
  • Demonstrated success working across multiple disciplines to drive performance
  • EVMS Certification
  • Program Management Certification
Required Education (including Major): STEM or Bachelor’s Degree with preference to Engineering or Business Management
