• How long will it be before I learn what my submission status is?

  Raytheon's recruitment process often involves job requisitions with hundreds of applicants; thus, while some jobs are filled quickly, others take time (often months) to successfully fill. If you are among the best qualified candidates for a position, as determined by our Raytheon hiring managers and recruiters, you will be contacted for a phone screen or an interview. If your qualifications and experience do not match our job requirements, you will receive an email notifying you that you have not been selected for a particular position and/or your status will be updated for that submission in your Raytheon account. Please be patient, as this process can take some time.

• What type of benefits do you offer?

  While benefits may vary based on business unit, location and/or union status, Raytheon employees receive comprehensive benefits as part of a competitive compensation package. Health and wellness plans are available to you, your spouse or same-sex domestic partner, and eligible children. Other benefits include insurance, income protection, investment/retirement and work/life programs.

  Depending on business unit and location, Raytheon employees are often able to participate in job shadowing, industry-specific networking events, lunch-and-learn programs and other activities.

• Do you offer relocation?

  Relocation is an important business – and personal – decision. Select positions are eligible for relocation packages.

• Do you offer tuition reimbursement?

  Our educational assistance program provides reimbursement for approved courses and accredited certificate/degree programs relevant to your position. Full-time employees are eligible for up to $10,000 in assistance each year.

• I am not a US Citizen. Can I still work for Raytheon in the US?

  Many positions across Raytheon may require the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.

  Employment is contingent on other factors, including, but not limited to, background checks and drug screens.
